Wear the mask correctly. Keep your distance. Avoid contact

It is necessary to wear a mask in all enclosed spaces (e.g. office, public transport, shopping), but also in open spaces where there’s a large number of people (e.g. concerts, outdoor shows, crowded areas).

Wearing a mask is an effective way to prevent infection with the new coronavirus (COVID-19), as well as keeping a safe distance of 1.5 meters from other people and avoiding contact with surfaces frequently touched by others as much as possible. This can exponentially reduce the risk of getting sick.

From September 1, 2020, activity is allowed in restaurants and cafes, serving indoors, in areas where the rate of spread of the new coronavirus is equal to or below 1.5 / 1,000 inhabitants, cumulatively, in the last 14 days.

- A table can be occupied by a maximum of 6 customers. Exceptions to this rule are members of the same family, who have the same domicile.

- In the case of indoor restaurants / cafes, customers will be seated at the table on the principle of "a busy table, a free one", and at the entrance will be displayed the maximum number of people who can be in the restaurant / cafe simultaneously.

- In the case of terraces, the distance of at least 2 meters between the occupants of the chairs next to the tables will be observed.

- When serving meals, staff will wear a mask and disinfect their hands before each serving.

- The disinfection of the tables is done after each client / group.

Important! The ban on indoor operation for bars / clubs / discos is maintained.

Museums and art galleries - Physical distance of at least 2 meters between people, admission of a maximum flow of visitors of 50% of the total capacity of the space, disinfection of hands, body temperature check and use of disinfectant carpets installed at the entrance; it’s not allowed to use audio-guide devices; unidirectional access flows are established to facilitate the maintenance of the physical distance and the wearing of the sanitary protection mask.

Libraries and bookstores - Wearing a sanitary mask, checking the body temperature at the entrance to the premises, disinfecting hands at the entrance and using carpets with disinfectant installed at the entrance; access to reading rooms will be reduced, in compliance with the provisions on social distancing, so as to ensure a distance of at least 1.5 meters between any 2 people or 4 square meters for each visitor.

Recreational and sports activities - A maximum of 10 people who do not live together are allowed.

Shows and film screenings - The activity of cinemas and performance and concert institutions is allowed, without exceeding 50% of the maximum capacity of the space, provided that the cumulative incidence in the last 14 days of the cases in the respective locality is less than or equal to 1.5 per 1,000 inhabitants. In the performance halls/cinemas, spectators must keep a distance of at least 1.5 meters, wear a protective mask throughout the event, and be placed leaving one seat empty between them, unless they are part of the same household.

PRIVATE EVENTS: In enclosed spaces - A maximum of 50 people are allowed; In open spaces - A maximum of 100 people are allowed.

Universities decisions for the next semester regarding pandemic conditions

University of Bucharest - The overall decision for the faculties within the University of Bucharest is to either have ONLINE or HYBRID teaching methods. It varies from faculty to faculty, so our advice is to check the website of the faculty you will attend or send an e-mail to the Erasmus coordinator in your faculty.

Bucharest National University of Arts (UNArte) - Throughout the existence of the risk of infection with SARS-COV2, the educational activities will take place in a HYBRID system combining online activities  with  onsite teaching. In this regard, a series of general measures are adopted that do not affect the quality of teaching while providing a high degree of safety to students and employees.

“Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urbanism - During the first semester, the didactic activity, for all UAUIM study programs, will take place in a MIXED system (partly online, partly in the UAUIM headquarters in Bucharest and Sibiu). Exceptions will be the master's programs of the Faculty of Urbanism and the doctoral study programs where the activity will be carried out exclusively ONLINE

“Nicolae Titulescu” University of Bucharest - All teaching activities will take place solely ONLINE
